A lifelong passion for justice compelled Susan to pursue a career in law. A natural advocate for those who have been wronged, she is driven to challenge and correct injustices. Whether a small business owner is dealing with difficult employees, or someone has been wrongfully dismissed or injured by another, Susan is determined to help them get justice and obtain fair compensation and redress.
As a partner at Polishuk Camman & Steele, Susan values the team approach that her law firm provides. The team meets regularly to go through all cases collaboratively, so clients can be assured they are accessing a dedicated team of lawyers with decades of varied experience between them.
From initial consultation onward, Susan assures the client they are receiving “big firm” quality and expertise, but with the intimacy and pricing of a smaller firm. She is committed to returning calls in a timely manner and keeping clients updated regularly. The key to her service is assuring clients that they don’t need to worry; she can confidently carry the stress of the litigation for them.
In 2017, Susan was honoured to receive a Canada 150 Medal from Irene Mathyssen, Member of Parliament for London-Fanshawe, in honour of her contributions to the community. She was also recognized as a London Top 20 Under 40 by London Inc. Magazine, an award granted to business and community leaders and trailblazers.
Susan continues advocating for her community outside her law practice as well, as a board member of the Urban League of London and the London Police Services Board. In addition, she teaches at Brescia University College and Western University, which helps her keep her legal knowledge current and on the cutting edge. Susan is fluent in English, Spanish, and also speaks some Portuguese.
